Creating Tools for Change
When it comes to community education, we are all looking for creative ways to reach our target audiences. In November 2009, the SPC and the Poverty Reduction Working Group of Nipissing (PRWG) launched this video to demonstrate the difficult choices that many families in Nipissing District must make as they struggle with low incomes. This educational tool was developed in an effort to further the PRWG's mission of creating a common understanding of poverty in Nipissing District and has been featured in several community presentations in North Bay.
